Pisgah Forest – Carolyn Elizabeth Sullens, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Doxie Mae Brewer Baynard. She was a lifelong member of Transylvania County. She was a homemaker and a former employer of Ecusta. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Edward M. Sullens, daughters; Martha Rogers and Dr. Nicole Sullens of Asheville, two sisters; JoAnn Parker of Copenhagen, Denmark and Nancy Baynard of Pisgah Forest, granddaughter; Jessica Marlow and great granddaughter; Taylor Marlow.
