Carolyn Barton Taylor was called home on May 24, 2024 following a brief illness in the hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  George Manley Barton and Ruby Burgin Barton and her husband of 56 years,  Thomas Glenn

Taylor.

She was a devoted wife and mother and very fond of her six nephews.  Employed at Schenck Job Corps for 44 years, upon her retirement she was the longest serving employee.

Carolyn was an excellent fisherman and enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with her husband and son to remote parts of Canada where they fished and hunted duck and deer with occasional unwelcome visits from bears.  For many

years she sheltered stray cats with great affection and attention throughout their remaining lives.

Survivors include her son,  Robert Manley Taylor.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
