Charles "Charlie" Lester Cox, age 66, of Rosman died Thursday April 22, 2010 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital. He was born June 26, 1943 in Transylvania County to the late Lester Morris Cox and Ruby Lee Garren Cox. Mr. Cox was a long distance truck driver and a member of Enon Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons; Darrin and his wife Janice Cox of Rosman, Dane and his wife Amanda Cox of Republic Missouri and Dennis Cox of Long Island NY, one daughter; Mrs. Deetra Averret and her husband Sam of Lakeland Fl., one sister Mrs. Keitha C. Reddick of Pisgah Forest, and nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday April 25, 2010 at 3:00pm at Enon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tommy Madden. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service on Sunday at the Church.
