Charles Roger Hunnicutt, 61, passed away on March 22 at his home in Brevard. He was the son of the late William (Bill) and Jean Fouts Hunnicutt. He was a graduate of Brevard High School and served in the United States Army. His is survived by a son Charles Roger Hunnicutt II; brothers: Ron Hunnicutt and wife Jean of Atlanta and Larry Hunnicutt and wife Freda of St. Robert, MO; aunts: Lillian Hunnicutt and Martha Hunnicutt of Franklin; cousins: Linda Fouts Blower of Holly, MI, Nancy Hunnicutt Downs (Bobby), Barbara Hunnicutt Guest (Roger), Jerry Hunnicutt, James Hunnicutt (Carlene) and Nancy Cable Krag (Hugh) all of Franklin. Roger was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. He was an avid sports fan and had a talent for growing flowers and sharing them. Roger loved his family and friends and his companion of many years, Fleetwood, a Jack Russell terrier. He celebrated life every day, and we who remain celebrate his life. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 27, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
