Charles Albert "Bubba" Salter age 58 of Pisgah Forest went peacefully to his heavenly home on Friday, December 8, 2023.

A life long resident of Transylvania County. He graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1985 with a degree in Machine Shop Technology. He worked at Eaton later known as Borg Warner in Fletcher, NC for 34 years.

He was the son of the late James and Mary Salter. He is survived by his loving son Michael James Salter of Denver, NC; his two brothers and their families. Russell (Tracy) of Sylva, NC and Paul (Sarah) of Krum, TX.

He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews Ruthie, Gus, Luke, and Jody.

He was an avid UNC and Raiders fan, loved riding his motorcycle, but most importantly he was a Christ follower and prayer warrior. He did not hesitate to share his faith with everyone he met. He made a positive impact on everyone who knew him. The family would like to thank both the Transylvania County Hospital and the Mission Hospital staff.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home from 4pm-6pm. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Enon Baptist Church of Pisgah Forest at 3pm.
