Union, SC – Charles E. Whitmire, 55, formerly of Brevard passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was the son of the late Bruce Whitmire and Lois McKinney Morgan. Charles was a proud veteran of the U. S. Marines. His daughters recognize him as the "best dad ever". Survivors include two daughters, Heather Leopard and husband Brad of Lebanon, IL and Courtney Lespreance and husband Ted of Crestview, FL; sisters, Toni Melton of Lake Toxaway, Jackie Whitmire of Cashiers and Carolyn Dingler and husband Sean of Tamassee, SC; one granddaughter, Kaelynn.
