Brevard - Charles "C.T." Wilson, 70, passed away Monday September 19, 2022.

He was the son of the late Lester Charles "L.C." and Lula Cassell Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Wilson.

Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the DuPont Corporation for 25 years. He plowed gardens as a service to the Cathey's Creek Community for over 55 years and most will remember him driving his tractor around the community. He was a quiet man and was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years; Christine LaBare Wilson, two sons, Brandon L. Wilson and wife Sara of Waynesville, NC; Josh L. Wilson and wife Nikki of Independence, KY; a sister Sue Ella Kirkman and husband Ronnie of Mt. Airy, NC; and three grandchildren; Daisy, Anna and Riley.

Memorial Services will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
