Brevard – Charlie Ansel Newman, 49, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was the son of the late George Harold and Virginia Dodson Newman. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Dodson. Survivors include his wife Tonya Newman, son; Cody Newman and wife Taylor of Brevard, daughter; Hailey Newman of Brevard, brothers Allen Newman and wife Teresa of Rosman and Alton Newman and wife Candace of Rosman, sisters; Lavelle Terry and husband Johnny of West Minister, SC and Lynn Galloway of Balsam Grove, NC and grandchildren; Emma and Maya. Memorial Services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Open Arms Tabernacle with Rev. Ronnie Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
