Cheryl Lynn Parks, age 70 of Brevard, passed away at Transylvania Hospital in Brevard NC at 3:30pm, Tuesday, December 03, 2024. She was a native of Transylvania County, NC and a daughter of Selena Annetta Hall Robinson and Chester A. Robinson. She was a retired employee of the Brian Center.

Cheryl was a member of Bethel "A" Baptist Church, Glade Creek Baptist Church and she also attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Brevard High School in Brevard, NC. Cheryl was surrounded by loved ones when she passed away on Tuesday. She was known as the lady who walked around town; it didn't matter the time of day, rain, or shine. Cheryl was born June 27, 1954, and was one of fourteen children. She liked to go to Cherokee and gamble and she loved scratch-off tickets.

She is preceded in death by her mother Selena Robinson and father Chester Robinson, her granddaughter Symone Stallworth, and brothers

Dennis Robinson, Richard Robinson, Wayne Robinson, Linda Henderson (half-sister), Wayne Walker (half-brother)

Survivors include two children, Sabrina Stallworth and Randy Stallworth; five grandchildren, Symone Stallworth, Porshlyn Owen, Tyler Stallworth, Kenon Stallworth (Lauren), Bailey Musser, Sean Stallworth; two great grand grandchildren Serenity Stallworth and Malachi Stallworth; siblings Ora Parham, Marva Lytle, Dolphus Robinson (Margaret), Mamie Owens, Ollie Howell, Lola Green, Wilma Lewis (Jerry), Warren Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Christine Gordon, Danny Walker (half-brother), Evelyn Walker (half-sister), and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 9. 2024 at Bethel "A" Baptist Church.
