Christina M. Cibella Brevard – Christina M. Cibella, 91, died Friday, July 30, 2010. A native of Warren, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Enes Romitto Battista. Mrs. Cibella was a member of St. Pius X11 Catholic Church of Warren, OH, and a long-time volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Christina was a devoted mother and wife. She was an exceptional baker and loved to cook. She also worked at various times throughout her life. Her kind demeanor and caring nature made her the ideal manager of a large apartment complex with over 80 tenants in Niles, OH where she knew everyone by their first name. Surviving are her husband of 74 years, Ross P. Cibella; sons, Charles Cibella and wife Karen of Brevard, and Ross M. Cibella of Sarasota, FL; brother, Gene Battista and wife Alda Lee of Warren, OH; sister-in-law, Vi Battista of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Roger D. Cibella, Debra Walker, Jill Shirai, and Heidi Werther; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Adam Werther, Hiromi Shirai. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with Father Carl Del Giudice officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
