Iva Christine Aiken Fisher, 74, of Brevard, passed away peacefully surrounded by her

loving family.

She was born April 2, 1949, in Watauga County, North Carolina to Arthur William and

Daisy Hartley Aiken, who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death

by a sister, Jean Aiken Crane, and a brother, Harold Edward Aiken. She is survived

by her husband, Charles L. Fisher, a daughter Nancy Irene Mahlum, and a son, Christopher

Mark Bryson; a brother, Arthur W. Aiken, Jr. (Wanda) and a sister, Joyce A Greene(Stan).

Three special grandchildren, Jody Bryson, Casey Mahlum, and Annika Mahlum. Her great grandchild, Ayden McCall, was her greatest delight.

Christine attended Rosman High School and shortly after married Keith Bryson, with whom she had her two children. Later, she went to work for Ecusta and worked there for 33 years. There she met her husband Charles. They loved to travel and went to Europe and visited almost all of the countries there. They also loved the beach and took many trips to different beaches. That seemed to be Christine's "Happy Place". She was also a fantastic cook and the family gathered often at her house for holiday meals. She was a lover of many souls, no matter what situation they were in.

In her retirement years, she reaffirmed her faith, and it became very important to her. She tried to tell anyone who would listen about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She was a member of Midway Bible Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
