Clara "Sue" Messer Taylor, 77, of Brevard left her earthly tent for her heavenly rewards in the presence of her husband of 61 years James "Ed" Taylor and son James E. Taylor. She was the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Geraldine M. Patterson Messer. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Charles and Randall Messer. Sue was saved as an early teen and her life was a living epistle that influenced the salvation of both her husband and son. She enjoyed her family, church, bible study, flowers and crafts. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James "Ed" Taylor; son, James E. Taylor and wife Rhonda of Cedar Mountain and brothers, H. L. Messer and wife Dot and Alvin Messer and wife Donna. Graveside Services will be held 2pm, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Mt Moriah Calvert Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5pm – 7pm, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
