Brevard – Clarence "Danny" Pearson, 62, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Clarence Pearson and Margie Craig. Danny was a member of the Brevard Moose Lodge. He also devoted his time to the Transylvania County Community as a Deputy Sheriff and a Police Officer. Survivors include his wife Darline Marshall Pearson, son; Richard Pearson and wife Danielle, daughter; Christalina Pearson Shelton and husband Jason of Brevard, brothers; Steve Pearson of Brevard and James Jones and wife Lisa of Benton, KY, sisters; Kathy Pearson of Brevard and Vera Masingale of Brevard, grandchildren; Caleb and Canaan Gilbert and Kale and Payton Pearson and many nieces and nephews who loving called him "Uncle Buckshot" and many others who called him "Pop". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 155 Public Safety Way, Brevard, NC 28712, Attention: Kim Bailey. Memorial services will be held 6pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
