Brevard – Claude Thomas Wilmoth, Sr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born in Wilkes County, NC to the late Robert Thomas and Josephine Luffman Wilmoth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Alice M. Wilmoth, one brother; Charles Wilmoth, one daughter in law; Karen J. Wilmoth and a great grandson; Braidon Moss. Mr. Wilmoth was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his children; Claude Thomas "Tom" Wilmoth, Jr., Freida Norris and husband Neal, James Edward "Jim" Wilmoth and Donald Lee "Don" Wilmoth, one sister; Diana Wilmoth Boutte; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
