Clifton C. Miller Brevard – Clifton C. Miller, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 04, 2014. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Lee Haynes and Cora Lily Searcy Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Don Miller. He was a hard worker that never complained. He had a big heart and loved everyone, especially Jesus. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 44 years; Ruth R. Miller; children, Alice Lance and husband Jeremy of Brevard, Wayne Miller and wife Kristie of Quebec and Joseph Clifton Miller of Quebec; one brother; Larry Miller of Lake Toxaway; sisters, Louise Phillips of Brevard, Marie Ingram of Columbia, SC, Ruby McCall of Lake Toxaway and Ruth Owen of Sapphire; grandchildren, Bo and wife Jessica, Cole, Cade Lance, Austin and wife Shelby and Chandler Miller, Nicole and Noah Miller and Talon Lance; great grandchildren, Rylan Lance and Mason Miller. Funeral services will be held 3pm, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mack McCall Cemetery.
