IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Craig Merritt
Cheek
November 5, 1950 – February 3, 2024
Craig Merritt Cheek, 73, of Brevard, went to be with the Lord February 3, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy Cheek; daughter, Amber Cheek; son, Courtney Cheek; grandchildren, Alissa Cheek, and Andrew Cheek; brother Don Cheek; nephew Sonny White.
Throughout his life he never met a stranger. From his time working at Ingles and Lowe's he seemed to know everyone in this community and could put a smile on their face. He loved camping, going to the lake, being camp cook at the hunting club, gathering with his long time neighbors/friends on the weekend to work on a project, and of course his Clemson Tigers/Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved bragging about his grandchildren to anyone that would listen. Upon retirement he went to work with his son as a truck driver. He would tell you it was the best job he ever had. He was loved by his fellow co-workers always bringing a smile to their faces.
A memorial service is planned for February 10, 2024, at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1pm with memorial service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to:
