Crissy Wilson Garst age 31 of Leland, NC passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at her residence. She was a loving "Ma" to her son Hunter Smith, who she loved and adored with all her heart. Crissy was an excellent cook and loved to make all holidays and birthdays special for her family and friends. She was a beautiful person inside and outside with so much love and compassion for everyone she met. Crissy was born in Transylvania County on November 8, 1980. She is the daughter of Jimmy W. Wilson, Gary and Myra Kay Powell of Brevard, NC. She is survived by her husband, Roger Garst of Leland, NC; her son, Hunter Smith of Leland, NC; brother, Jamie Wilson and wife Tonia; twin sister, Missy Tucker and husband Doug; paternal grandmother, Dora Wilson, all of Brevard, NC; step-brother, Christopher Powell of Greenville, NC; step-sister, Jessica Woodall of Goldsboro, NC; nephews, Corey Gravely, Brooks Wilson; and niece, Krista Tucker, all of Brevard, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and a host of cousins that loved her dearly. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Monday, April 16th at Moody Connolly Funeral Home.
