Brevard – Curtis Henry Gardin, 61, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was the son of the late James E. Gardin, Sr. and Robbie Mae Outlaw Gardin. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Gardin, Jr, Vernon Gardin and Lawrence Gardin and a sister, Ruby Gardin. Survivors includehis daughters, Amanda Gardin of Brevard and Victoria Chapman and husband Roy Dean of Rosman; brother, Charles Anthony Gardin of Brevard; sisters, Sheila Mooney and husband Carl of Brevard and Laura Gardin-Kilgore and husband Tommy of Brevard; grandchildren, Destiny, Zipporah, Analisa, Bella and Bay. Memorial services will be held 1pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Bethel A Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating and F. H. Goldsmith delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the family home, 69 North Lane, Brevard, NC 28712.
