IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cynthia Ann
Lipski
April 21, 1962 – May 17, 2023
Pisgah Forest - Cynthia Ann Lipski is now at rest after a year's battle with pancreatic cancer.
Cynthia was born and lived in southern New Jersey until graduating from high school. She then proceeded to Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business. From there she enjoyed a career with Duke Energy. She worked as a Nuclear Operator spending most of her time at the McGuire Nuclear Plant on Lake Norman just north of Charlotte, NC. She spent 32 years with Duke and retired in 2017. She then relocated to Pisgah Forest to enjoy her retirement with husband and family.
In addition to spending time with family and friends, Cynthia's interests included many outdoor sports such as mountain and road biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, tennis, hiking, and camping. Additionally, she enjoyed crafts such as making hats which were sold at our Local Color store in Brevard and making masks during the pandemic. In the process of these pursuits she made many lasting friendships. We know this to be true based on the outpouring of love and support she received over the past year.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband Gary Bradshaw and family members, Walter Lipski (father), Sue Lipski (sister) and brothers Steve Lipski, Dave Lipski and Ken Lipski.
There will be a Celebration of Life event announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and gifts Cynthia requested that you make a donation to her favorite non-denominational Christian non-profit organization, YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado. Cynthia worked there as a volunteer where she enjoyed nature and sports such as her love for cross-country skiing. The following will provide the details for making a donation.
