Dalton Hunter Sanders (Oatmeal),20, of Rosman went home to be with the Lord May 1st 2016. He was born on June 16, 1995. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Wade Sanders. Surviving are his daughter Alysha Rae Hall-Sanders; father Shawn Melton (Tanya); mother Crissy Sanders; stepfather Eddie Lunsford; maternal grandmother Debra Sanders; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Sandra M. Melton; aunt and uncle, Chuck and Shelley Williams; brothers and sisters, Ashton Sanders, Grayson and Gabby Melton, Chandler Miller, David Hoffman, Christian Edwards, Daniel, Brooklyn, and Caden Lunsford; special cousins; Tyler Owens and Trey Williams and several other cousins whom he loved more than life, and best friends that weren't just friends they were brothers and sisters; God Mother Karen McCall. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm Saturday at the church.
