Dan Lance, age 72 of Brevard, NC, went home to be with the Lord on March 17,2022. Dan was a life long resident of Transylvania County. He worked at Ecusta in the machine room for 33 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville,North Carolina for 53 years. Dan lived his life loving and caring for his family and will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. He was proceeded in death by his two sons, Daniel Chad Lance and Jamie Robert Lance. Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda O Lance; his daughter Melissa and her husband Michael Floyd; his daughter-in-law, Kendra Lance; his four grandchildren Kayla Najera and her husband Michael, Nathan Lance, Corey Matthews,and Malia Floyd; two great grandchildren,Brooklyn and Mason Najera; several brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held at 6 PM Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, 216 Shelburne Rd., Asheville, NC 28806. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
