Daniel Ryan Zuccala, 38, of Horse Shoe, North Carolina, left this world unexpectedly on June 17, 2025, leaving behind a family that he cherished beyond measure. Born on April 17, 1987, in Delray Beach, Florida, Daniel was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who will be loved and remembered for his open-hearted nature and protective spirit.

Throughout his life, Daniel's unwavering dedication to his family stood as a testament to his love and loyalty. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shala Zuccala, his two cherished daughters, Blaikley and Olivia Zuccala, his loving mother, Kimberly Banther (Gary), his devoted sister, Jennifer Mosley (Jeff) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Daniel's family was his everything; he found immense joy in watching his daughters play softball and sharing laughs and adventures playing video games with them.

From an early age, Daniel's determination showed bright, particularly in the sports arena. In high school, he was proud to play football and enjoyed an undefeated record in wrestling at home, a reflection of his passionate and driven spirit. He loved to fix things, build things and solve problems. Those who knew him best describe Daniel as a unique blend of seriousness and goofiness; his presence filled a room with warmth and laughter.

Above all, Daniel's greatest milestone was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His deep-rooted faith provided strength, comfort, and guidance in everything Daniel did, lighting an inspiring path for those around him.

Family, friends, and those whose lives he touched are invited to celebrate and honor Daniel's life at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home in Brevard, NC on Sunday, June 22nd, at 3 p.m. Daniel was taken from us too soon and will be deeply loved and missed forever.
