David Lee Metcalf, 49, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Surviving are his father, Bobby Joe Metcalf of Brevard; mother and step-father, Mary T. Buckner and Tom Buckner of Penrose; sister, Cynthia Metcalf Elliott and husband Patrick of Seneca, SC; step-brother, Donald Buckner and wife Jenny of Waynesville; step-sister, Jan Day and husband Jodie of Morganton, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Private family services were held.
