Brevard – Della Vera Moody, 78, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 12, 2015. A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Nannie Sitton Moody. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Moody, and her sister, Lucille Monteith. Vera worked at Ecusta for many years. She had a unique personality and was a friend to everyone she met. Surviving are a brother-in-law, Marvin "Spunk" Monteith of Brevard; three nieces and one nephew; several cousins and a dear friend. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel.
