Delma Louise Phillips Myers age 92 left this realm to enter paradise Monday, May 9, 2022. She had resided in Brevard, NC for the past 75 years. She was born July 11, 1929 in Jackson County, North Carolina to the late Walter and Betty Phillips. Delma was married to the late Wayne Myers on December 15, 1946. She attended Rosman High School and eventually obtained her Certified Nursing degree at Blue Ridge Technical Institute. Delma had a variety of hobbies such as gardening, attending church and chatting with her many friends. She wore many hats in her long life such as Tupperware representative where she rose to the level of District Manager, paper carrier for the Asheville Citizens Times for over 15 years, and Nurses Assistant, where she cared for many souls over three decades. But most of all, Mama, Nannie and Granny to her four boys, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is survived by her four sons; Ray Myers (Debbie), Dean Myers (Beth), James Myers (Billie) and Dennis Myers (Grace); a brother Carl Phillips (Juanita); a sister Norma Ball (Jackie); nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, 181 S. Caldwell Street, Brevard, N.C. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm with service at 2:00 pm conducted by the Reverend Randy Stamey. Pall Bearers will be Kenneth Myers, Jeremy Myers, Zach Lowe, Alex Lowe, Luke Myers and Brady Myers.
