Rev. Dennis Gary Tornquist, 63, of Brevard passed away August 28, 2013. He was born June 23, 1950 in Cloquet, Minnesota to the late Josef Tornquist and Olga Muriel Holmes Tornquist. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Henry Tornquist and one sister Elaine Markant. He was a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary with Masters of Divinity, He earned his undergraduate degree at New York Missionary College of, He retired from the Assembly of God and a was member of Brevard Community Church. He is survived by his wife Gladys Hvidding Tornquist, one son; Leif Tornquist, three daughters; Rebecca Columbo and her husband John, Kelly Jill Hennig and her husband Ben, and Johanna Angelo and her husband Terrance, one brother Glenn Tornquist, and three grandchildren, Jack Hennig, Freyja Hennig,and Alexander Angelo.
