Devin Phillips, a native and lifelong resident of Brevard, NC, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, unexpectedly.

Devin enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and building bonfires with his kids. He attended North Henderson High School with the class of 2005. During his time at North, he was a member of the football team, which is a sport he enjoyed and later spent time teaching his son. He worked at XSYS as a CNC grinder for many years.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Geraldine Phillips, Jesse Phillips, James Collins, and Frances Collins.

He is survived by his parents Scott Phillips of Little River; Judy Brown (Ricky Brown) of Lake Toxaway; his wife Amber Phillips of Brevard; his children Lori and Dylan Phillips of Brevard; brother Dustin Phillips of Mills River; aunt, Lynn Collins of Brevard; uncle, Bill Phillips of Brevard; aunt, Kathy Galloway of Mills River; many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 am-12 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home followed by a service at 12 Noon. A private burial will be at Harris Cemetery in Tuckasegee.
