Diana David Kilpatrick of Brevard, NC passed away on April 27th, 2024 surrounded by her husband and three children. She was 83 years old.

Diana was born in Pine Bluff, NC and always described herself as a "North Carolina girl". A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Florida Atlantic University (masters degree), Diana was a teacher, seamstress, long-distance runner, a mother and a grandmother. Her kindness was her greatest asset and led to many deep friendships, often involving a cold Voodoo Ranger beer and a lot of laughter. Her friends and family will definitely be raising a glass in her memory. Known as the "Costco Queen" her husband is convinced the only limits in life Diana could not overcome were the dimensions of the trunk space on her car.

Diana is survived by her husband, Gerald T. Kilpatrick (Gerry); her sons Gerald T. Kilpatrick, Jr. (wife Cheryl Kilpatrick)  and Douglas C. Kilpatrick; her daughter Jane I. Pressler (husband Nickalus Pressler); her grandsons Noah Pressler (23), Ian Kilpatrick (23), Jacob Pressler (20); and her granddaughter Maggie Kilpatrick (18).

Visitation and a short service will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home on May 10th from 5pm to 7pm, located at 181 South Caldwell St., Brevard, NC 28712. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Four Seasons Hospice Care at www.fourseasonsfdn.org .
