Diana Gail Martin, 44, of Pisgah Forest, NC, passed away on January 24, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1980, in Hollywood, FL, the daughter of Michael and Cynthia Martin. She graduated from West Henderson High School and then went on to Brevard College, where she earned an associate's degree in Art.

Diana married Scotty Norton on December 17, 2017, at Highland Lake in Flat Rock and began a life together that would one day include the blessing of a child, Alexander Lee.

She not only created fantastical art but also worked as a manager for Dreamweaver and started up her own businesses, including Creature Comforts. Her most recent efforts, however, were investing in the life and education of Xander, their son.

Diana saw the wonder in the world around her, particularly in nature. She loved hiking, fishing, art, music, kayaking, animals, and, most of all, her love and dedication to her son, Alexander, and her opening up this wonderful world to him.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Scotty Norton, son Alexander, parents Michael and Cynthia Martin, sister Natalie Ezell and brother-in-law Jon Ezell, grandmother Ethel "Mom Mom" Adams, the Norton families, the Adams families, the Sekaz family and the Whitaker families.

Visitation will be held from 11am - 12 pm on January 31, 2025, at Little River Baptist Church in Penrose, NC, with a service to follow by pastor Marc Reynolds.
