Lake Toxaway – Donald Joseph Boland, 67, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016. He was the son of the late Joseph and Nancy Lehmkuhl Boland. Don was known in his childhood years as "Champ". He was also known in his later years as the "Pisgah Forest Walmart Ambassador". He was a very caring, giving, loving, kind and gentle man. He always put others ahead of himself. He generously gave himself as he served others through his faith in God. Don served his country in the U. S. Airforce. Survivors include his partner in life, Laura Green of Lake Toxaway; brother, David Boland of Pensacola, FL; sister, Suzie Boland and her partner in life Phil Pauley of Punta Gorda, FL. Memorial Services will be held 11am, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. A memorial service will also be held 3pm, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Cashiers United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Rev.
