Donald Gene Eichinger 78, of Pisgah Forest Passed away October 15, 2013. He was born November 17, 1934 in Richland County Ohio to the late John Eichinger and Rosalin Engel Eichinger. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother John Eichinger and one sister Virginia Gaubatz. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of Pisgah Hikers a volunteer with the Forest Service and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Donald retired From Smith-Barney where he was First Vice President for Operations. He is survived by his wife Carol Frantz Eichinger, three sons; Gregory and his wife Tami Eichinger, David and his wife Linda Eichinger and Jeffreyand his wife Charlene Eichinger, one daughter; Micki Crisafulli and her husband Frank, one brother; Richard Eichinger, one sister; Marianne O' Hearn, He is survived by his seven grandchildren, Lauren, Tim and Jeff Eichinger; Frankie and Thomas Crisafulli; Magan Eichinger; and Katie Eichinger. A memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Friday October 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church conducted by Father Andrew Nowak.
