Donna Barton White (Donnie or Donna Ruth) passed away on September 6,, 2024. She was a talented singer and loved gardening, canning, and visiting with family. She was the daughter of the late Davis & Iona Barton. She is survived by her husband Bob White of Old Toxaway, her son Bryan Henderson and daughter in law Claudia Henderson of Old Toxaway, her daughter Lisa White of Old Toxaway, stepchildren Kimberly White McMinn of Rosman, Jeff White of Pickens, & John White of Pickens. She was the proud grandmother of Briana Henderson Beddingfield, Jade Nofsinger, Chris White, Jessica Meece, Courtney Sanchez, and Kelsey McMinn, Koty Jackson, Chase Preston-White, Brandon White, and Adam Barton. Great grandchildren Chloe Beddingfield, Timothy Beddingfield, and many step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Velda Hoxit of Brevard and her brother Marvin Leon Barton of Old Toxaway.

She is preceded in death by her late husband David Heatherly and son Timothy Heatherly, brothers Don'L Barton & Boyd Barton, and her sisters Elaine Cannon & Jeanette Ivoralene (Ivy) White.

There will be a memorial at the Rosman Church of God on September 14, 2024 between 1 – 3pm.
