Doreen Helen Bryson Brevard – Doreen Helen Bryson, 69, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2015. She was the daughter of the late George Hamlin and Carrie Teague Bryson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Faye and Dorothy Ann Bryson. A native of Transylvania County, Doreen was a lifelong member of Glady Branch Baptist Church. She was very active in KOALA of Brevard. She enjoyed people and loved her church. Surviving are her brothers; Dennis Bryson and wife Betty of Brevard and Donald Bryson of Brevard, sister; Martha Mae Bryson of Brevard and many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held 2:30 pm, Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Johnny Hughes and Allen Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home from 1pm – 2pm prior to the service.
