Doris Ruth Graham, 78, passed away peacefully at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock on May 10, 2013. She was born November 5, 1934 to the late Stanley and Viola Bernhardt in Chicago, Illinois. A devoted wife and mother, she served faithfully as a pastor's wife while holding various jobs within the church. Loved ones she leaves behind include her husband of 58 years, Rev. Lee Graham; sons David Graham and wife Lisa of Key Largo, Florida and Scott Graham of Stewart, Florida, and daughter Brenda Ewing and husband Jack of Panama City, Florida; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service for Mrs. Graham will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Brevard with Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Youth Department of First Baptist Church of Brevard at 94 South Gaston Street, Brevard, NC 28712.
