Pisgah Forest – Doris Elizabeth Ramey Patterson, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. A native of Walhalla, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Ramey and Marilyn Powell Ramey and was the wife of the late Thomas Arville Patterson. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Lee Patterson, sister, Lois Ramey Addis, and brother-in-law, Roy Green. Surviving are her daughters, April McCall and husband Tim of Pisgah Forest, Marilyn Burns and husband Anthony of Westminster, SC; sons, Seaborn Patterson and wife Sherry of Madison Heights, VA, Leon Patterson and wife Lillie of Liberty, SC; sisters, Genevieve Ramey Green of Walhalla, SC, Carolyn Ramey Littleton and husband David of Seneca, SC; brother, James Robert Ramey and wife Dianne of Seneca, SC; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Pickens, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, Brevard, NC.
