Dorothy P. Hill departed this life at Transylvania Regional Hospital on December 12, 2013. Dorothy was born September 15, 1920 in Wrightsville, GA to the late Robert Emory Pierce and Mattie Outlaw Pierce. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Hill, son, Walter B. Hill, Jr and daughter Dorothy Y. Hill-Harris. Surviving is her son Robert E. Hill (Betty) of Richmond, Va. and daughters Sandra Hill-Smith of Brevard NC, Beverly D. Hill of Greenwood, SC. Grandchildren: Artis Hill-Williamson (Michael) of Atlanta, GA, Tracy Dailey (Jerald) of Brevard, NC, Robert E. Hill (Joy) of Richmond, VA, Charles Sheldon Harris of Columbia, SC, Dr. Dorothy Y. Harris of Houston, TX, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as host of grand nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Revs. Marshall Erwin and Morris Young officiating.
