DOROTHY MARIE SITTON (3/2/1944) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 10/27/2026 at the age of 82. A lifelong She resident of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruby(Owenby) Hoxit. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Henry Sitton and daughter Angela Scott. She is survived by her daughter Annette (Husband Dwayne) Shipman, three grandchildren, Zane Shipman, Paul Scott, and Katie(husband Chris) Sexton, with one great-granddaughter Sabrina Scott-Woodard, one brother Jim Hoxit and numerous nieces and a nephew. Also surviving is her constant companion and much-loved dog Pepper. She graduated from BHS and devoted her life to taking care of her family. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
