Doyle Queen, 93, of Balsam Grove passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born May 9, 1931, to the late Rev. Mance C. Queen and Lular Brown Queen. He is also preceded in death by four brothers Virgle, Spurgeon, Cecil, Lawrance "Cot" Queen, five sisters Oma Queen Smith, Minnie Queen Conner, Nelia Queen Robinson, Mattie Queen Broom, and Annie Louise Queen, his wife of 54 years, Myrtle Golden Queen and his son, Jeffery Lee Queen.

Survivors include two sons, David Doyle Queen and Roger Allen Queen of Balsam Grove, two daughters Joyce Queen Arant and husband Gerald of Brevard, and Tammy Queen Kimsey and significant other Stan Galloway of Balsam Grove. Along with 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Old Woods Church with the Revs. Keith Queen, Johnny Robinson and Chris Owen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Woods Cemetery.
