Brevard - Earl Odell Aiken, 83, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at his home. He was the son of the late Richmond Pierce and Rozella Meece Aiken of Rosman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Beulah Aiken, Osa Whitmire of Tryon, N.C., Myrtle Owens of Clarkesville, T.N., four brothers, Rev. Arthur Aiken, Howard Aiken, Leo F. Aiken, Rev. Ray Aiken. He retired from Ecusta, Corporation in 1999 after 44 years of service. He was a charter member of Mid-Way Bible Baptist Church in Brevard. Survivors are his wife, Shirley Ellis Aiken, his sons Tod O. Aiken, Sr., Tony L. Aiken and Gregory M. Aiken. Eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren. Brothers Paul Aiken of Monroe, N.C., Donald Aiken of Rosman, N.C., sister, Dorene Byars of Columbus, N.C. and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on November 13, 2020 at Mid-Way Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Allen Aiken officiating.
