Edgar Allen Owen, 67 of Brevard died November 23, 2009. He was born April 23, 1942 in Transylvania County to the late Fred Owen and Otha Chapman Owen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Faye Henderson Owen, one sister Estelle Larson and one brother Ronnie Owen. Mr. Owen was retired from M-B Industries. Survivors include one daughter Ms. Kellie Owen Iacovetta of Madison, Alabama, seven brothers Charles Owen of Pickens S.C., Howard,Harold and Gerald Owen all of Rosman, Carl Owen of Washington State, Michael Owen of Pisgah Forest and Brian Owen of Brevard, three sisiter's Mrs.Thelma Cantrell of Rosman, Mrs. Jeanette Owen of Easley SC, and Mrs. Vonda Harding of Montana and two grandson. Josh Erickson of Everett Washington and Jake Iacovetta of Lexington Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Friday November 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ron Nelson. Interment will follow at Whitmire Cemetery in Lake Toxaway.
