Edith McCall Emerson Brevard – Edith McCall Emerson, 85, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Loonis and Bessie McCall and was the wife of the late Guy Emerson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Emerson, and two brothers, Leon and Odell McCall. Surviving are her daughter, Geraldine E. Raines and husband Larry of Brevard; two grandsons, Eric Emerson and Nathan Emerson and wife Jenny; great-granddaughter, Anna Emerson. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Pisgah Gardens with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.moodyconnollyfuneralhome.com.
