Hendersonville – Edward James Young, 57 died unexpectedly November 15, 2022.

He was born July 12, 1965, in Baltimore Maryland to late Charles Edward Young and Ervalee Cole Young. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Young, and a brother, Charles Edward Young Jr.

Edward graduated from Kennesaw State University with a BS in Computer Science. He was a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Force and served during the Gulf War.

He worked as an IT project manager and most recently as a driver for Paramount Produce in Hendersonville, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ward Young, and stepson Nicholas Simeona, step-daughter, Jillian Decker. Siblings: Nancy Blades, Donald Young, Troy Young, Deborah Young, Darlene Blades and Millie Davis. Nieces & Nephews: Jennifer Rabideau, Brandon Rabideau, Erica Caputo, Jesse Montgomery, Jeremy Montgomery, Brittany Montgomery, Undrea Young, Shondra Young Hasbro, April Hickman, Anita Taylor, Amanda Blades, Cardinal Blades II, Ken Davis and Tabitha Davis. He had 30 great-nieces and nephews and 13 great-great-nieces and nephews as well as family by marriage, Scott and Teresa McCall.

The family will be receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a service of remembrance following on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, 181 South Caldwell Street. Brevard NC. Internment immediately following at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Rosman, NC.
