Elijah Dodson Rosman – Elijah "Littl'n" Dodson, 60, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, he was the son of Thelia Aiken Dodson of Rosman and the late Elzie Dodson. Mr. Dodson was a member of Old Toxaway Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughters, Carrie Chapman and husband Brian of Rosman, and Tessa Chappell and husband Jason of Rosman; son, Shaun Dodson and wife Kansas of Rosman; brothers, Elisha Dodson and wife Belinda of Rosman, and Eli Dodson and wife Christina of Rosman; sisters, Judy Gray and husband Bobby of Six Mile, SC, Leworline Galloway and husband Joel of Pickens, SC, Martha Durham and husband Tony of Easley, SC, and Anita Nicholson and husband Terry of Rosman; grandchildren, Jesse and Avery Chappell, Elijah Lee Chapman, and Colton, Lillie, and Cleaman Dodson; special nephew, Timmy Dodson and wife Brittany; special niece, Jennifer McCall and husband Corey, and numerous other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 4 pm Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Old Toxaway Baptist Church with the Revs. Tony Lambert, Shaun Dodson, and Billy Bruner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
