Elsa "Jean" Owen Murr, age 67 of Brevard, received her Heavenly Mansion Saturday May 9, 2020.

Mrs. Murr is survived by her husband, Lewis Murr of the home; three children, Ray and wife Dawn Murr of Pisgah Forest, Anita and husband Brian Stamey of Rose Hill, NC, and Chris and wife Angie Murr of Brevard; two sisters, Joan and husband Leo Bracken of Wallace, NC, and Nancy and husband Tom Spaulding of Charlottesville VA; one brother, Hurshell Owen of Brevard; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in her death by a sister Violet Allision; a brother Truman Owen; her father and mother, Harley & Ellen Owen.

Mrs. Murr was a member of Selica Community Worship Center of Brevard.

Gravesides services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 2pm at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Leo Bracken officiating.
