Emily Josephine Owen Rhinehart Pisgah Forest – Emily Josephine Owen Rhinehart, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was known by her friends as Betty. A native of Transylvania County she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Louise Landreth Owen and was the wife of the late Lloyd David Rhinehart. Mrs. Rhinehart loved quilting and she was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Charles Ray Rhinehart and wife Suzanne of Taylorsville, NC; daughter, Mary Rogers and husband Bryan of Pisgah Forest; grandchildren, Christy McCall and husband David of Pisgah Forest, Derek Parris of Hendersonville, Laura Rhinehart of Hickory, NC and Taylor Rhinehart of Taylorsville, NC. The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lake Toxaway.
