Ernestine Miller Henderson, 92, of Lake Toxaway died Thursday May 2, 2013 at the Oaks of Brevard. She was born January 23, 1921 in Transylvania County to the late Kimsey Curtis Miller and Elmina Nicholson Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Duckworth Henderson her daughter Mary Josephine Henderson, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Quebec. Survivors include two sons; Johnny Henderson and T.C. Henderson both of Lake Toxaway, two daughters; Margaret Leach and her husband Ronnie of Hilton Head S.C. and Viola Powell and her husband Lenoard of Lake Toxaway. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday May 5, 2013 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Quebec. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
