On Wednesday June 9, 2021, Ethel Genevievie Gillespie (Galloway) went to her Heavenly home where she gained a glorious new body. Genevievie was truly an angel here on earth. She was a caretaker of several people and families during her lifetime teaching her children and grandchildren a strong work ethic, the meaning of true kindness, and love toward your fellow man. She was also a godly woman who taught her family in the true meaning of walking with God, and never losing your faith in the face of any circumstance. Her son Larry exhibited these qualities in his loving care for her these last several years he selflessly devoted to her. She was mom to Larry Gillespie, Ann Surrette, and Jackie Faye Delong; mamaw to Nancy Owens, Michelle Surrette, Donna Gillespie, Larry Gillespie Jr., and Melody Denise Gillespie; great-mamaw to Jasmine, Heidie, Kyliegh, and Mason Gillespie; loving mother-in-law to Molly Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Gillespie; her son Roy Gillespie; several brothers, and a sister.
