Brevard – Eula Gray Landreth, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Edith Kilpatrick Gray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Gray, sisters; Vera Sentelle, Elsie Killian, Mildred Bresnahan, Ethel Hamilton and twin sister Euva Gray and one great grandson Quentin Arnold. Mrs. Landreth was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church since childhood and served for many years as treasurer. She dedicated much of her time as a volunteer at Transylvania Regional Hospital. She enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles. She took pleasure in raising African violets. Most importantly, Mrs. Landreth loved large family gatherings where she was surrounded by her entire family whom she loved dearly. Survivors include the love of her life, her husband of 68 years, Richard Landreth, sons; Marc Landreth and wife Karen of Horseshoe, NC and Tim Landreth and wife Jewell of Thomasville, NC, daughter; Crela McElrath and husband Rob of Taylors, SC, six grandsons, Brandon, Jesse, Marc II, Josh, Jose and John; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and very close friend, Ann Etters. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Hendersonville, NC with the Revs. Dan Dillinger, Tim Landreth and Rick Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
