Blantyre - Eula "Pat" Morgan, 92, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 30, 2023 at her residence.

A lifelong resident of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Ott and Alma Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  Gaynard Morgan of 74 years brother,  Arnold L Wells and sister Argyle Gash.

She was of the Baptist faith. She grew up working on her family's dairy farm which was the last running dairy farm in Transylvania county. She was loved by all who knew her and her pride and joy was raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed working in the garden and working in the yard.

Survivors include her sister Virginia "Jean" Huggins, children, Ralph Morgan (Robin) and Deborah Buckner (Frank); grandchildren, Chris Morgan (Marielle), Monica Howard (Josh), Melissa Morgan, Kyle West (Jessica), Jonathan Morrow (Stephanie) and Noah Buckner; numerous great grandkids and great, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Pastor Thomas Glenn officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday November 5, 2023  in the chapel of Moody-Connolly funeral home.
