Eula Lambert Sanders, 85, of Rosman, wife of the late Carl W. Sanders, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals, Asheville, NC. She was born in Cherokee, NC to the late Jess and Cora Bradley Lambert. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cleo Galloway. Surviving are her three children, daughter, Evelyn Lowe and husband James, sons, James and wife Loretta Sanders all of Rosman, and Wade and wife Debi of Brevard; a special friend to her and her children, Shirlee O'Neal; sisters, Lela Bales, Tinsa Sanders, and Floy Matthews; brothers, Dan and Ray Lambert; five grandchildren, Tim and Jeff Lowe, Thad Sanders, Chrissy Sanders, and Nicole Owenby; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; special friend, Mary Dee Bruner; many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Old Toxaway Baptist Church with the Revs. Tony Lambert and Bill Bruner officiating. Burial will be in the Old Toxaway Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Thursday at the church.
